About the area

The Education directorate supports the academic mission of UWA India and is responsible for the delivery, quality, and governance of teaching and learning activities across the institution. The directorate includes academic disciplines and teaching staff, academic support services, library and learning resources, research administration, and education quality and compliance functions. The directorate ensures academic activities operate in accordance with governance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and UWA academic standards while supporting the establishment and growth of UWA India's academic operations.

About the opportunity  

  • Provides administrative support for research projects, funding applications, and related documentation, and assists with preparation and submission of research funding applications in accordance with institutional requirements.
  • Maintains research records, project documentation, and research administration systems and databases, ensuring information is accurately recorded within institutional systems to support reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Assists with preparation and coordination of documentation supporting research approvals and governance processes and liaises with academic staff and professional services teams regarding research administration processes.

About you  

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Experience providing administrative support within a higher education, research, or similarly complex organisational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative processes with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Note: This position requires the satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening appropriate to a senior role, including verification of identity, qualifications and employment history, and any additional background or integrity checks required by applicable law or UWA India policies.
