At UWA India, we are committed to supporting your academic success from your first day through to graduation. Get help to improve your study techniques, time management, writing, English language, research skills and more.

Academic writing

Our Learning Support Coordinator can support you with how to structure academic documents, improve grammar and write with a professional academic tone.

Study skills

A range of online resources are being developed and will be available soon to support you with:

  • Time management.
  • Note taking and preparing for exams.
  • Academic writing and referencing.
  • Critical thinking and analysis.
  • Research and information literacy.
  • English language skills.

Academic integrity

Academic integrity is behaving in an honest, fair and responsible way in an academic setting. As a student at UWA India, you are part of a community that values academic integrity, and there are important principles, rules and ways of behaving that are expected of you.

Academic integrity requires acknowledging the contributions of other people when using their ideas to support your work. To display integrity shows others that you are honest and people can trust what you say, or in the case of assignments, that the work you submit has been completed by you unless you have indicated otherwise.

Every UWA student is required to complete the Academic Conduct Essentials (ACE) and the Communication and Research Skills (CARS) modules. These modules outline the expectations of academic integrity while studying at UWA India.

Your Learning Support Coordinator can support you to develop good academic practices in your note taking and writing, while the Library & Learning Resource Advisor can support you with referencing.

Individual support

You can book an individual appointment with a Learning Support Coordinator for tailored advice. The Learning Support Coordinator can help you with:

  • structuring assignments
  • improving clarity and academic style
  • developing arguments and critical analysis
  • understanding feedback on your work.

The Learning Support Coordinator can guide you on how to improve your work but will not edit or proofread assignments.
