Dr. Suresh Merugu

Dr. Suresh Merugu is an academic and researcher with nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, innovation, and academic leadership. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Digital Image Processing, Internet of Things (IoT), Assistive Technologies, Smart Healthcare Systems, and Cyber-Physical Systems. His work emphasizes the development of intelligent and data-driven solutions for healthcare, accessibility, smart cities, agriculture, and other societal applications. He has expertise in deep learning, image analysis, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled embedded systems.Dr. Merugu was recently awarded the Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Descriptor 2 (D2) through the PREP programme under the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP), UK.
