University Policies

Students at UWA India are supported by University policies, procedures and governance documents  that promote a high-quality, transparent and student-focused educational experience.  These documents set out the academic and administrative requirements that apply to students, explain students’ rights and responsibilities, and provide guidance on matters relating to study and participation in University life.

Governance Documents

UWA India operates within the governance framework of The University of Western Australia. This includes University regulations, rules, policies and other approved governance instruments.

These documents establish the requirements and decision-making arrangements that support academic quality, integrity, accountability and compliance across the University. Where required, UWA India-specific policies, procedures or schedules may supplement the University-wide framework to address applicable Indian legislative and regulatory requirements.

Academic Governance

UWA India operates in accordance with The University of Western Australia's Academic Governance arrangements.  These arrangements support the quality, integrity and continuous improvement of teaching, learning, assessment and student outcomes.  Academic governance policies provide clear standards and processes that guide academic decision-making and ensure accountability across the University.

Student Administration policies govern matters relating to admission, enrolment, academic progression, assessment, appeals, complaints, graduation and student conduct.  These policies ensure that students are treated fairly and consistently throughout their academic journey.

Information is handled responsibly and only for legitimately required educational, administrative and operational purposes.

UWA India Student Fees Policy

UWA India maintains transparent policies relating to tuition fees, charges and refunds. Students are encouraged to review the applicable fee schedules, payment requirements and refund conditions before accepting an offer of admission. Refunds are assessed in accordance with University policies and any relevant regulatory requirements.
