Academic Program Support Advisor

About the area
The Academic Support function coordinates and delivers academic program support services across UWA India, encompassing academic advising, learning support, academic skills development, education quality and compliance, and the governance and quality assurance environment underpinning academic program delivery. The function works collaboratively with academic departments, the Student Experience directorate, and the Library and Learning function to ensure support is integrated and responsive to the diverse learning needs of UWA India's student community.
About the opportunity
- Provides integral administrative support for academic programs and courses, through maintaining academic program documentation and records, and assisting students with administrative processes relating to course enrolment, program requirements, and academic documentation.
- Delivers great customer/client service through being responsive to student and academic staff enquiries, coordinating the preparation and distribution of teaching and learning materials, and assisting in the preparation of documentation supporting academic governance processes and committee activities.
- Plays a critical role in ensuring university governance, compliance and regulatory requirements are met through maintaining accurate records and quality assurance of administration processes.
About you
- Experience providing administrative support within a higher education or similarly regulated organisational environment.
- Understanding of compliance and governance requirements in higher education or a similarly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage academic or organisational administrative processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work effectively with academic staff, students, and professional services teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation within administrative systems.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures while contributing to the effective operation of administrative services.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and provide responsive support to stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and administrative professionalism.
