If you experience illness, injury, a medical emergency, or another health concern, we can provide support and guidance to help you access the services and assistance you need.
Mumbai campus
On-site medical facilities are available at the Waterstones Mumbai campus for staff and students, including a 24/7 paramedic and ambulance.
Chennai campus

Managing medical impact on your studies
- Academic Adjustment Plans (AAP): The Student Wellbeing Advisor works with you to design a tailored AAP based on your individual needs and medical documentation, coordinating reasonable learning, assessment and examination accommodations.
- Registration: Contact the Student Wellbeing Advisor as early as possible via uniaccess@india.uwa.edu.au to arrange a confidential consultation.
You may wish to seek support if you are:
- feeling physically unwell and symptoms are not improving
- managing an injury, illness or medical condition that is affecting your studies or attendance
- finding it difficult to participate fully in university life because of a health concern
- feeling overwhelmed, anxious, persistently stressed, or emotionally distressed
- experiencing changes to your sleep, concentration, motivation, or ability to manage daily responsibilities
- balancing ongoing formal caring responsibilities and finding it difficult to manage your studies, attendance or daily responsibilities
- supporting another student and are unsure how to help
- seeking advice about available support options
